Our clear aligner process
Come in for your smile consultation
At your first free consultation, we’ll assess the current state of your teeth and listen to your smile goals. We’ll also discuss your financial needs to ensure your treatment fits your budget.
If your orthodontist determines that clear, removable aligners are right for you, we’ll create a treatment plan that meets your needs and accomplishes your goals.
Make a plan
Our Orthodontics Exclusively team will take digital images and X-rays of your teeth and use these to create your treatment plan. Using a computerized program, we’ll design a personalized series of clear, comfortable, removable aligners that will shift your teeth in stages toward a beautifully straight smile.
Your doctor precisely designs each set of clear aligner trays to shift your teeth into straighter positions. You can even see a digital projection of your final results before you start treatment.
Wear your almost-invisible braces
After receiving your clear aligners, you should wear them as much as possible, but you can take them out to eat, floss, and brush.
You’ll come into Orthodontics Exclusively for checkups about every four to six weeks to get new sets of aligners and check the progress of your teeth. These checkups are generally quick and painless because you won’t have any wires to check or tighten.

Differences between braces & clear aligners
When it comes to clear aligner treatment, there’s a lot to consider. Most clear aligner patients at Orthodontics Exclusively enjoy shorter check-ups, fewer appointments, simpler oral hygiene, and fewer emergency visits.
However, since the aligners are removable, they have some additional responsibilities. Your cooperation is essential, whether you have braces or clear aligners.
Since braces are attached to your teeth, they do the heavy lifting to keep your treatment progressing. With clear aligners, you need to do a little extra work during your treatment so your trays can be fully effective.
You’ll need to manage your wear time, keep your aligners clean, and swap them out for the next aligner in the series. You need to be sure that you can do this before committing to clear aligner treatment.
