Meet Dr. Mark Revels
A native of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Dr. Mark Revels was accepted into the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1997, and later that year joined the U.S. Navy dental officer program. In 2001, Dr. Revels received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and earned the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) award for excellence in orthodontic studies.
After completing his time with the Navy, Dr. Revels began his orthodontic training at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. In 2006, he received his Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics from UMKC and his board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics, a distinction only achieved by 1 in 3 orthodontists. After graduation, Dr. Revels returned to Norman where he joined Orthodontics Exclusively and has been happily serving as a local orthodontist in Norman and Oklahoma City ever since.
Meet Dr. Tim Shannon
Dr. Tim Shannon received his board certification from the American Board of Orthodontics in 2006. He was also inducted into the Pierre Fauchard Honorary Dental Academy and voted the “Best Dentist/Orthodontist” in Norman on multiple occasions.
In 2010, Dr. Shannon accepted a position as a part-time clinical instructor for the Graduate Orthodontic program at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry, in addition to continuing to work as one of the best orthodontists in Oklahoma City and Norman. To keep abreast of the latest developments in orthodontic care, Dr. Shannon regularly attends continuing education courses, works with orthodontic suppliers developing new products, and speaks locally and nationally on innovative orthodontic mechanics.
Meet Dr. Gabi Restuccia
Originally from Venezuela, Dr. Gabriela Restuccia attended the Central University of Venezuela School of Dentistry, graduating in 2011 with magna cum laude honors. In 2013 she came to Oklahoma to start her residency in Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma-School of Dentistry where Dr. Shannon was one of her part-time instructors. During her residency, she took all the National Board Dental Examinations and the written examination with the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Restuccia received her certificate of specialty in Orthodontics and a Master of Science degree in May of 2016.
In addition to working alongside Dr. Shannon and Dr. Revels as an orthodontist for the Norman and Oklahoma City communities, Dr. Restuccia now also works as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Oklahoma.
